MaryJune Cain joined the Office of Internal Audit in June 2026. Prior to joining Internal Audit, Cain was at RSM US LLP – Des Moines in assurance, the City and Borough of Juneau, Alaska’s Purchasing and Public Works departments, admissions/partner at PCI Academy, and consulted salon and spa owners on business growth strategies nation-wide.

Cain graduated from Iowa State University with a Master of Accounting and a bachelor’s degree in business management and international business, with a minor in entrepreneurship. Cain is also a licensed cosmetologist in the State of Iowa, graduating from PCI Academy (Professional Cosmetology Institute) in Ames, IA.
