Chad Sharp joined Internal Audit in October 2002 and was named the Iowa Board of Regents Chief Audit Executive in January 2024. He is responsible for overseeing the auditing efforts of the Regents enterprise.
Sharp previously worked as an account manager, financial auditor, and process/compliance analyst for a local telephone company. He attended the University of Iowa, where he earned a bachelor's degree and Master of Business Administration. He is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Fraud Examiner.
